Fabrizio Bosso

Fabrizio Bosso

Italian trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso is widely regarded as one of the most talented trumpeters of his generation with a recording history that includes Blue Note, EMI and Verve/Universal.

Graduated at Conservatory of Turin aged only 15, he has collaborated with such artists as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Joe Lovano, Carla Bley, Mario Biondi, Charlie Haden and Stefano Di Battista on some of the world’s biggest stages, including at the North Sea Jazz Festival, Le Parc Floral, Auditorium in Rome, Umbria Jazz Festival, Monte Carlo Jazz Festival and as far afield as Argentina and Japan.

Fabrizio’s virtuosic style resounds of the classic bop era, with influences from Clifford Brown to Don Cherry and Chet Baker, but is very much ‘Bop of third millennium’ – a sensitive mix of classic and contemporary.
