Gareth Lockrane's Grooveyard

Grooveyard is a true 21st century Hammond combo! Led by flute supremo Gareth Lockrane, they play jazz heavily influenced by Funk, Gospel and Hard Bop. Featuring some of London’s best jazz talent, Gareth is joined by Alex Garnett (tenor sax), Mike Outram (guitar), Ross Stanley (Hammond Organ) and Nick Smalley (drums).

Between them, the band have recorded and performed with the likes of Jack DeJohnette, The Heritage Orchestra, Martin Taylor, The James Taylor Quartet and Jim Mullen. Grooveyard's first two albums, "Put The Cat Out" and "Roots," received critical acclaim. 2012 sees the release of their much anticipated third record.
